Heinz’s Innovative 3D Special Build: Elevating OOH Advertising
Heinz has launched one of the biggest 3D special build OOH sites seen in the UK across six locations. The Out of Home activity, which will amplify a more extensive OOH campaign, will run in London (at locations in South West and South East London), Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Birkenhead.
The sites feature a giant 3D Heinz mayonnaise jar alongside the message “Upgrade Your Mayonnaise”. They reflect the premium and dynamic nature of the product and audiences are left in no doubt as to the scope and scale of the product offer.
The campaign, planned by OMD UK and bought and executed by Talon, along with media partners JCDecaux, Russells Signs, Clear Channel and Primesight, seeks to raise awareness of Heinz’s new product line ‘Seriously Good’ mayonnaise.
The food giant’s new product contains no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives and is using a construction 3.2 metres tall to dominate these traditional 96 sheet OOH panels.
Talon’s Innovations Consultant and campaign project manager Catherine Knight comments: “The new Heinz Mayonnaise jars are sleek, eye catching and unique in their shape, texture and colour. As exact replicas of the jars our 3D builds are bold and at 3.2m high they will most definitely be noticeable. We are confident this campaign will stand-out as much on the street as the product does on the shelves.”
