Bi-lingual, Media Planner

Role Description

We are seeking a Media Planner that will contribute to the growth and profitability of Talon OOH Canada by being the primary contact for their assigned group of clients. Additionally, the Media Planner will be responsible for ensuring that all tactical responsibilities are executed for clients in Print & Out of Home media. This position will manage an exciting number of multiple projects, conceive and create new ideas, and ensure seamless execution of current processes. The individual in this role is required to possess bilingual proficiency in English and French. They should demonstrate excellent communication skills and have the ability to effectively manage expectations with clients, internal teams, and vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATIONSHIPS_

  • Accurately input and maintain media campaign data in system
  • Manage cost details to identify and resolve discrepancies in system
  • Update and maintain internal systems for new and existing vendors
  • Work directly with internal teams and external partners to troubleshoot issues
  • Upload files to partners and partner systems
  • Maintain request log

WORKING HABITS AND CORE SKILLS_

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Media Studies, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Adapts quickly with constant focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Responsive, timely, and accountable when servicing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across departments.
  • Proficient in data analysis and working with Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Emerging understanding of tools and departmental processes, including Outlook & Teams.
  • Basic understanding of media planning, advertising principles, & digital marketing a plus
