Frank Bryant, part of the team who set up Talon in 2013 alongside Eric Newnham and James Copley, is stepping back from his role as co-CEO of the UK business at the leading Out of Home agency. He reverts to Founder, staying with the business in a reduced role two days a week.

Leadership Transition at Talon: Frank Bryant’s Evolving Role

Bryant has overseen client service, investment, commercials and business development at Talon as part of various roles in that time, including Managing Partner, Managing Director, Group COO and co-CEO. He remains in a reduced operational role as he looks towards retirement, with UK CEO James Copley taking over sole responsibility for the UK business, reporting into Talon Group CEO Barry Cupples.

Frank Bryant commented on the change: “I’m happy stepping back from my extensive operational responsibilities and day-to-day involvement in the business. Talon has been an unbelievable success since we came into the market and I’ve loved every minute building and growing the business to its key leadership role in Out of Home. I will remain closely involved in ensuring we make a quick return to growth and will stay close to our fantastic clients, agencies and media partners.”

Barry Cupples adds, “We’re delighted that Frank will remain involved at this crucial time for Talon and the media industry. Frank’s amazing contribution has spanned every aspect of Talon’s phenomenal growth since start-up and an incredible source of energy and leadership to the business. As we enter our ninth year of operation and focus on evolving our technology and scaling our global capability for clients, we are well placed with a clear succession plan to meet every demand ahead.”
