Twitter Highlights its User’s Modern-Day Dating Struggles with Humorous Valentine’s Campaign
Over the Valentine’s weekend, Twitter, the social networking platform, kicked off its cringe-worthy campaign that highlighted its user’s dating struggles.
The Dating Twitter campaign included an experiential event in Covent Garden called “The Dating Advice Bureau,” that featured hilarious real-life tweets of modern-day dating fails.
To drive people to this event, Talon worked closely with Twitter and PHD to amplify these relatable tweets further with Out-of-Home (OOH). High footfall platforms across Tottenham Court Road, Oxford Circus and Piccadilly Circus were dominated with the Twitter’s humorous creative.
Fly-Posted Tweets in Busy Areas
Busy areas in Clapham Junction, Queenstown Road in Battersea and St. Paul’s Road in Islington were fly posted with the tweets too.
The OOH campaign is a part of Twitter’s broader campaign to highlight the conversational and topical nature of its user’s tweets. As a result of the OOH domination across busy areas in London, the campaign generated a huge buzz online, with images shared widely across social media.
