Talon creates joint Chief Client Officer Roles and promotes Luke Willbourn and Amy Horton

Talon’s New Chief Client Officers

Talon, the UK’s only independent Out of Home specialist, has created two new senior roles, overseeing the client/agency-facing business.

Luke Willbourn and Amy Horton have both been promoted to Chief Client Officer, responsible for two strands of Talon’s business. Willbourn will manage all the Omnicom agency business, while Horton takes charge of agencies and clients across Havas, Goodstuff and the full range of independent agencies.

The roles have been created to enhance Talon’s exceptional and award-winning work for agencies and clients in light of the increasingly dynamic and data-fuelled OOH landscape, and to further develop the strong people culture established at Talon. Both will report into Managing Director James Copley.

Luke Willbourn, who has been promoted from his current Group Business Director role managing the OMD UK and PHD businesses, has been at Talon for over four years and has 16+ years’ experience in the Out of Home industry, including roles at Kinetic, Posterscope and CBS Outdoor (now Exterion Media).

Amy Horton joined Talon in 2017, having previously worked at Kinetic, CBS Outdoor, EMAP, MediaVest and the Radio Advertising Bureau. She is promoted from her position as Head of Business Development and brings a wealth of client-facing experience to the new role.

James Copley, Managing Director at Talon, comments on the promotions: “I am delighted to promote Amy and Luke to Chief Client Officers reflecting the significant contributions both have made towards driving our success to date. The people at Talon are our best asset and as we continue to grow so does our investment in our talent.

“Our business is transforming; these promotions and this new structure will ensure that we continue to execute the most effective campaigns for our clients capitalising on our automation technology, Plato, and our data management platform.”

Amy Horton commented on the new role: “We are both delighted to be working together to supercharge Talon’s client teams as the business moves into the next phase, setting the agenda for the exciting future of Out of Home, with strong values and culture at the core.”

Luke Willbourn added: “We are both looking forward to evolving our client and agency relationships through smarter location planning, our use of data and the roll out of our proprietary automation and data platforms.”
