SEAT and CALM deliver “Grow a Pair” Provocative Messaging using Out of Home 3D sculptures for Mental Health Awareness Week

Car brand SEAT, part of the Volkswagen Group, and leading mental health movement CALM have built a unique Out of Home mural installation to coincide with Mental Health Awareness Week.

The build features a pair of huge 3D ears with the provocative creative headline “Grow A Pair”.  The mural and 3D build will grab Londoners’ attention to tackle the serious message of male mental health, at the same time promoting the relationship between SEAT and CALM.

The unique installation featuring two 3-metre-high replica ears – urging people to start listening to their friends – is situated on the Euston Road to attract huge vehicular audiences, especially during commuter peak hours. The creative execution was devised by adam&eveDDB, planned by PHD and delivered by Talon. Partners Global Street Art hand painted the installation giving it a realistic and impactful finish.

SEAT partners with CALM, a movement aiming to lower the suicide rate amongst men, because freedom of expression and addressing key issues in our society are pivotal to its brand philosophy.

Catherine Knight, Talon’s Creative Solutions Project Director

Catherine Knight, Talon’s Creative Solutions Project Director says: “This campaign is not only visually impactful, but due to the provocative headline it will be suitably disruptive and effective at raising awareness of both mental health issues and the partnership between SEAT and CALM. We are very excited and proud to have delivered such a ground-breaking and visually striking campaign with such a relevant and important message at its heart.”

Mental Health Awareness Week takes place May 13th-19th.
