BELONG AT TALON

Our ‘Charter for Change’ commits the business to be an inclusive organisation with a ‘Top Down’ approach to ensure adoption and accountability at every level. We are members of MEFA and Creative Access. Our Belong COG is made up of Talon employees. It helps to shape our internal working practices, policies and recruitment strategy to ensure Talon is a great place to work for all talent – and to create access to Talon from typically underrepresented groups in media.

SOCIAL AT TALON

At Talon, we work hard and we play together. Our Social COG is responsible for creating and organising a wonderful array of events for everyone at Talon throughout the year including Sports Days, Pub Quizzes, Halloween Parties and Away Days – all of which are free to attend for all Talon staff.

TALON GIVES BACK

We believe in giving back and supporting our local community. Through staff volunteering and working closely with our charity partners, we actively raise money throughout the year. Our Charity COG drives the charitable work of Talon, arranging events to raise money to support our charity partners, and working with other teams within the business to run events in support of wider charitable causes. So far to date, as a business, we have donated over £2,000,000 to good causes.

At Talon, we prioritise learning and development – with all staff members encouraged to complete a minimum of 50 hours of training a year. Our people team provide an array of courses both onsite and offsite for staff to improve their skills – including Advanced Presentation Skills, Building Stress and Resilience, the
industry-wide Ad Net Zero certification and compulsory leadership skills training for all managers. The Talon family are supported in their personal and professional development with meeting-free study days and regular appraisals to assess their training needs.
