Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Oracle NetSuite Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining NetSuite applications

THE ROLE_

This role involves collaborating with various Finance teams in the UK, USA and Canada, to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement functionalities that enhance our business operations. The role includes managing internal and 3rd part functional consultants. The role has one direct report.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATIONSHIPS_

  • Design, develop, and customize NetSuite applications to meet the business requirements.
  • Integrate NetSuite with other internal and third-party applications.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance of existing NetSuite implementations, including troubleshooting, ensuring full reconciliation of API data between various systems, and resolving issues.

Review existing NetSuite setup and recommend and implement proposed changes to improve efficiency/integrity of configuration

  • Manage and maintain data within the NetSuite environment, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for customizations, workflows, and integrations.
  • Manage the day-to-day work of NetSuite functional consultants and 3rd party technical consultants.
  • Identify opportunities for system improvements and implement enhancements to optimize performance.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS_

In addition to the experiences mentioned above:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in NetSuite development and administration.
  • Certifications: NetSuite certifications (e.g., SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Developer) are highly preferred.
  • Team management experience including some experience of project management/design
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in SuiteScript for developing and customizing NetSuite applications.
    • Experience with MapReduce script development for processing large datasets within NetSuite.
    • Use of software version control systems to manage the bespoke scripts.
    • Experience with JavaScript.
    • Experience with integration tools and platforms (e.g. Celigo).
    • Knowledge of SQL and database management.
