Role Description

We are seeking a proactive and analytical individual to join our team as a Director in the Client Services department at Talon Outdoor. As a director in this department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our media operations and translating client objectives to the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual looking to further their career in the media industry.

A DAY IN THE LIFE_

  • Implement the vision, goals and expectations within the planning team
  • Oversee all aspects of client relationships to ensure expectations are met and exceeded
  • Set and manage annual budget and margin goals
  • Lead and motivate the team; foster an environment of accountability; capitalize on growth and learning by acknowledging and building upon employee strengths
  • Engage new business opportunities, leading large-scale presentations, RFPs and new product/service offerings
  • Provide direction to the planning team in the development of POVs and providing recommendations to clients
  • Ensure client objectives and timelines are met by planning team
  • Manage relationship with Agency and/or Direct Clients as well as strong relationships with partners and vendors.
  • Identify areas of opportunity for improved operational efficiency and maximize technology for the benefit of the company and clients.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations summarizing research findings, data analysis, and campaign performance for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in creating visually engaging and impactful presentations that effectively communicate key insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure PowerPoint presentations align with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.
  • Support in the creation of slide templates, charts, and graphs to enhance the visual storytelling of media reports and presentations.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR_

  • Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in data analysis and working with spreadsheets, Excel, and other relevant software.
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint, with the ability to create visually appealing and effective presentations.
  • Proficient understanding of media planning, advertising principles, and digital marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across departments.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive and self-motivated mindset, client-oriented individual
