Commercial Business Analyst

Role Description

The Commercial Business Analyst reports to the VP, Commercial Partnerships and is responsible for operational, data analysis and reporting tasks related to optimizing the output of Talon’s Commercial team. This role supports the effective management and delivery of the commercial targets and communication with the key stakeholders at Talon.

A DAY IN THE LIFE_

As a Commercial Business Analyst, you will, produce and circulate weekly reports across Management, Commercial and Client teams. You will collaborate with teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive reporting and to communicate the strategy to the business. You will build and maintain relationships with input into the development of Plato and Atlas to optimize reporting for investment.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR_

  • Experience working in a fast-moving team delivering solutions for clients or business partners
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic, love to help and is naturally solution and resolution focused
  • Advanced data management and analysis skills
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data modeling)
  • Experience with data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Familiarity with SQL for querying and customizing reports
  • Understanding of media planning and buying metrics
  • Proven experience in data analysis and reporting roles
  • Track record of managing external stakeholders effectively
  • Proficiency in providing detailed reporting to diverse audiences
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including growth analysis and financial modeling
  • Familiarity with media buying platforms and campaign metrics (preferred)
